  • Web Developer / Senior Web Developer SOM (School of Medicine)
    • Responsible for academic and administrative web applications, related commercial applications or related processes supporting the Perelman School of Medicine education, research and/or administrative mission
    • Participate in planning, development of specifications, project plans, and other supporting documentation and processes;
    • Aid in planning future infrastructure requirements.
  • Academic Local Support Provider SOM (School of Medicine)
    • Provides on-site desktop and other technical support to users in research labs and academic administration, including support solutions customized for the needs of particular research or administrative working groups
    • Performs basic installations, repairs, upgrades, and maintenance on hardware, software, computer peripherals and computer-aided scientific research equipment.
    • Troubleshoots technical problems, answers customer questions and resolves issues. Occasionally refers issues/questions to appropriate personnel/manager for follow-up, but resolves most issues independently and without referral.
  • System Administrator, Infrastructure SOM (School of Medicine)
    • Provide hardware administration, network support and related infrastructure services to the faculty, staff, and students of Penn Medicine Academic Computing Services (PMACS) and its affiliates.
    • Deploy, configure, manage and optimize the virtualized environment (VMware).
    • Manage on-site and backup tape inventories and off-site rotation.
  • Senior System Administrator, Infrastructure SOM (School of Medicine)
    • Provide hardware administration, network support and related infrastructure services to the faculty, staff, and students of Penn Medicine Academic Computing Services (PMACS) and its affiliates.
    • Deploy, configure, manage and optimize the virtualized environment (VMware).
    • Plan hardware and software upgrades and reconfigurations to meet changing demands, select equipment and vendors to meet those requirements, oversee implementation
