Overview

The Department of Psychiatry and PENN Behavioral Health participate in educational efforts institutionally, locally, regionally, nationally and internationally in order to raise the impact of current knowledge and new findings in psychiatry.

Continuing Medical Education

CME programs include the Psychiatry Grand Rounds lecture series, the Center for Mental Health lecture series, VAMC Psychiatry CME, Pennsylvania Hospital Grand Rounds, Cognitive Therapy lecture series, a weekly seminar series with national and international speakers and a weekly journal club on the biological aspects of addiction at the Treatment Research Center, and other conferences and workshops.
