Addictions Assessment Center
at Presbyterian Medical Center

Overview

Penn Presbyterian Medical Center offers a wide range of behavior health services, including inpatient and outpatient services for mental health and addiction treatments, and specialty mental health programs for older adults.

Penn Presbyterian's dedicated staff of physicians, nurses and counselors are nationally recognized as leaders in addiction treatment. Our program is Joint Commission and CMS accredited and it is evaluated and approved by the Department of Heath annually.

We offer specialized programs for:

  • Alcohol Addiction
  • Cocaine Addiction
  • Heroin Addiction
  • Multi-Substance Addiction
  • Dual Diagnosis
  • Medically Complicated Patients
  • Men and Women

Individual and Group counseling, 12-Step Meetings on campus, educational materials and support, relapse prevention groups, and family support and orientation meetings are available for all patients. Penn Presbyterian has an extensive Alumni Association, which offers a strong network of support after the program is completed.


Fees and Payment

The cost of treatment is covered by most major insurance plans including Medicaid, HMO's and CBH. For those without coverage, assistance with arrangements can be made through our assessment center at
