Dr. Neumar is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine where he is also a faculty member of the Mahoney Institute of Neuroscience and the Neuroscience Graduate Group.

Dr. Neumar currently Chairs the American College of Emergency Physicians Research Committee, and serves on the American Heart Association ACLS subcommittee, and the NIH Center for Scientific Review BDCN-F11 Neuropharmacology Study Section. He also is a Consulting Editor on the Annals of Emergency Medicine Editorial Board. Dr. Neumar has previously chaired the American College of Emergency Physicians Scientific Review Committee, the Research Section of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the Scientific Sub-Committee of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine Program Committee.
