| Description of Study: | This is a two-part analysis of possible environmental triggers. The first part involves giving a questionnaire to patients seen at HUP over the past three years. We have completed this and found some association with heavy metal exposure and possible solvents. While performing this study we came across a number of patients from an area of PA near Doylestown. We are accumulating additional cases from this area to pursue possible association with a toxic waste site or another mode of exposure. |
