
The Department of Medicine/Division of Rheumatology at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Medicine seeks candidates for several Assistant, Associate or Full Professor positions in the tenure track, non-tenure clinician-educator track, or non-tenure academic clinician track. Track and rank will be commensurate with experience. Applicants must have an MD or MD/PhD degree and ABIM Eligibility/Certification in Rheumatology.
A physician-scientist must have a strong background in Biomedical or Clinical Research and devote at least 80% of their time to research. Candidates with research interests in the broad areas of immunologic and musculoskeletal diseases are encouraged to apply.
The Clinician-Educator will concentrate on patient care and teaching and will be expected to participate in research and other scholarly activities. Candidates with clinical interest in all areas of musculoskeletal and immune-medi c ated disorders are encouraged to apply.
We are also seeking candidates in the non-tenure Academic Clinician Track directed towards patient care and excellence in teaching of junior faculty in a supportive academic environment. The clinical service supports an increasingly diverse set of practice venues.
Opportunities for a Health System Clinicians, that is directed primarily towards patient care, are also available with an academic appointments in the associated faculty.
