Welcome to the Rhinology Lab at the University of Pennsylvania Department of Otorhinolaryngology. We are in the midst of several exciting projects, and we hope to continue to carry on the legacy of Rhinology here at Penn.

Our lab's mission is: fluorescent staining of airway cilia

To elucidate the normal physiology of sinus mucosa and ciliary function
To investigate the immunologic changes in patients with Chronic Rhinosinusitis and other common pathologies
To study the patterns of bacterial infection and the mucosal changes in such settings
To create opportunities to translate our research into treatment options for patients suffering from such diseases.
