Movie of APP (amyloid precursor protein) tagged with a YFP (yellow fluorescent protein) vesicles moving in cultured hippocampal neurons maintained at ~37 degrees C using a custom-built temperature-controlled incubator made by RIS. Numerous APP vesicles are seen moving rapidly and persistently from the cell body into the elongated axon and back. Movie was made using a Coolsnap HQ CCD camera.
