CSCN 9th Annual Research Retreat
Call for Abstracts
Friday, June 8, 2012
8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Reception to follow
Hall of Flags, Houston Hall, 3417 Spruce St.

The Center for Sleep invites all investigators in disciplines such as endocrinology, neurology, neuroscience, nursing, psychology, rheumatology, sleep medicine, psychiatry, pulmonology, and veterinary medicine to submit abstracts. Basic science, translational, and clinical research in the fields of sleep, sleep disorders, sleep and metabolism, and circadian rhythms are welcomed. All those who submit an abstract will be expected to present a poster unless the abstract is chosen for a talk.

Clinical fellows are also encouraged to submit case studies for poster presentations. The most interesting will be chosen to be presented as a talk during the retreat.

A panel of senior faculty will judge the abstracts and posters, and the authors of the best submissions and the best presentations (one each in basic science research, clinical/translational research, and case studies) will receive a $500 award. Presenters must attend the retreat to be eligible for an award.

Deadline has been extended to April 18. To register, complete the registration form. Send to Margaret Higgins by email attachment as one-page (8 ½ x 11) (including figures) in Microsoft Word format, Times, 10-12 pt font. Include subheadings, such as Background, Methods, Results and Conclusions.

The CSCN retreat highlights significant and cutting-edge basic science, translational and clinical sleep research being performed throughout the University of Pennsylvania scientific community. We look forward to seeing you at the retreat.
