This symposium is an inter-disciplinary forum inviting experts to discuss the current understanding of population sleep, the effects of poor sleep in the workplace and on health, and to propose strategies to study population sleep. The material is relevant to all health providers, public health officials and researchers, policy makers, and advocacy organizations.
