This year's keynote speaker will be Dr. Juliane Winkelmann, Assistant Medical Director, Neurological Clinic, Institute of Human Genetics, University Technology Munich (TUM). Dr. Winkelman just received the Outstanding Scientific Achievement Award from the American Sleep Research Society. All those who submit an abstract or case study will be expected to present a poster (unless the abstract is selected for a talk). Poster boards are 4' by 8’.
A panel of senior faculty will judge the abstracts and posters, and the authors of the best submissions and the best presentations (one each in basic science research, clinical/translational research, and case studies) will receive a $500 award. Presenters must attend the retreat to be eligible for an award.
To register, complete the registration form. You can register by submitting the form online. Abstracts must be submitted to Margaret Higgins by email attachment as one-page (8 ½ x 11) (including figures) in Microsoft Word format, Times, 11 pt font.
We invite you to submit an abstract to this retreat, which will highlight significant and cutting-edge basic science, translational and clinical sleep research throughout the University of Pennsylvania scientific community. We look forward to seeing you at the retreat.
