SCTR Building Operations

Overview of Building:

The Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine (PCAM), the Roberts Proton Therapy Center (RPTC) and the Smilow Center for Translational Research (SCTR) are component parts of a single integrated building development located at 3400 Civic Center Boulevard. This single building complex provides health services for patients, biomedical research laboratories and education space

PCAM includes approximately 500,000 square feet of patient oriented program and executive offices and 300,000 square feet of parking

RPTC is a facility of approximately 55,000 square feet that forms the base of the SCTR

The SCTR is a facility of approximately 530,000 square feet housing patient oriented space on the lower levels and biomedical research facilities on the upper levels

All components of the building share utilities and mechanical infrastructure. HUP/UPHS administers patient use areas; the Perelman School of Medicine administers research program areas and support. HUP organizations provide building operations support (maintenance, environmental services (housekeeping), security) throughout PCAM/RPTC and will provide these services to the SCTR.
