The water treatment contractor is attempting to obtain the necessary specialized replacement equipment and materials to make the system fully operational. Please be advised that on Thursday, August 28, 2014, FRES will be conducting an emergency generator load test as required by the City of Philadelphia, Department of Licenses and Inspection. There will be two short electrical blinks; one at 4:30 AM and one at 7:30 AM. Please shut off all computers and data gathering equipment connected to red outlets unless protected by a UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply).

EHRS Directive:
All work with hazardous chemicals, infectious agents and radioactive materials is PROHIBITED throughout the building during the testing period. No operations are permitted inside fume hoods or bio-safety cabinets in the affected rooms.

Advisory:
Please be advised that starting on Monday, June 16, 2014 and continuing for approximately eleven weeks until August 29, 2014 there will be construction activities at the breezeway between Stemmler Hall and HUP. Work is tentatively scheduled between the hours of 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The purpose of this construction is to prevent water from leaking into the lower levels of the building.
