Advisory:
Please be advised that starting on Saturday morning, October 4, 2014 at 7:00 am until Sunday afternoon at approximately 3:00 pm, it is necessary to shutdown supply air handeling unit AHU#3, the area exhaust will remain operational. This is necessary to gain above ceiling access to make critical repairs to the drainage system.

EHRS Directive:
All work with hazardous chemicals, infectious and radioactive materials is PROHIBITED in the affected laboratory areas during this outage.

Advisory:
Please be advised that Facilities Services will be completing a sidewalk and curb repair outside the front entrance of Blockley Hall on Guardian Drive. This repair is scheduled to start Monday, September 29, and will take 3-5 business days to complete (weather permitting), between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This sidewalk and curb repair will not interfere with access to the main entrance, or the use of the bicycle racks. However, the ADA parking spot will not be accessible.


During this repair, there will be some intermittent noise for the first two days. However, the benefit of this repair will improve the appearance and safety, for all that travel through this area.

Please be advised that there will be a planned interruption of normal electrical power affecting CRB starting Wednesday evening, October 15, 2014 at 10:00 pm, lasting until Thursday morning at 6:00 am. Emergency power; i.e. red outlets will be available. A large contingent of: FRES supervision and technicians; SoM personnel; and contractors will be on site during this planned outage.

The purpose of this outage is to repair and maintain the high voltage electrical power distribution system. This operation is a follow up to, and a direct result of, an electrical fault which occurred on Saturday, September 6, 2014.

The Richards Building will be closed from 6:00 am until 2:00 pm; no one is permitted in the building during these outages. Water will be unavailable for restrooms, laboratory, and emergency irrigation.

Please be advised that some of the elevators in the School of Medicine are due for their "Five Year Load Test" as required by the State of Pennsylvania. These tests will be done on Saturdays between the hours of 7:00 am and 4:00 pm, with only one elevator at a time taken out of service for the required test.
