Service(s) Affected: Stemmler Hall East, Floors 2 through 5
Notice Date: 09/18/2009
Building(s) Affected:
Stemmler Hall, Edward J.(Stemmler)
Whole Building Affected: YES
Advisory:
Beginning August 31st the long awaited project to replace the windows on the east end of Stemmler Hall will begin. This project will affect floors two through five. The specific rooms affected are listed below along with a preliminary schedule. We will begin on the 5th floor in an unoccupied space so that the process can be ironed out and then work our way down through the building.
When the time comes for your labs windows to be done we will need to clear all supplies and equipment away from the windows (an area of approximately 4 feet will be needed). We will have people on hand to move any large items and furniture for you. A dust wall will be put up to protect your lab so that you can continue to work in the areas not near the windows. Each section of windows will come out and the new windows put in place the same day. The other time will be required to finish (caulk, paint, etc) the windows and make the lab area whole. We will be installing new blinds on all of these windows at this time as well.
Here is the preliminary schedule and the rooms affected:
5th Fl (Rms 508 – 510 unoccupied rooms) 09/14/09 - 09/23/09
