The Anatomy / Chemistry building will experience a building wide shut down of Domestic Hot and Cold water. During this period, there will be NO Domestic Hot or Cold Water in the building. The purpose for this shut down is perform safety shower inspections.

Advisory:
Please be advised that starting on Monday March 11, 2013 and continuing through July 31, 2013 Facilities and Real Estate Services (FRES) and the School of Medicine are implementing an energy conservation project throughout the building. The scope of this work is to replace existing ballasts and lamps in labs, corridors, public spaces and offices, occupancy sensors will be installed as appropriate. The work shall be accomplished between the hours of 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM, Monday evenings through Friday mornings.

Please note each floor will take approximately 10 working days. The work will begin in the lab area ending in 02 and progress clockwise.
The work will be completed as follows:

10th floor March 11th to March 22nd
9th floor March 25 to April 5
8th floor April 8 to April 19
7th floor April 22 to May 3
6th floor May 6 to May 10
5th floor May 13 to May 24
4th floor May 27 to June 7
3rd floor June 10 to June 21

Due to the nature of this work all building occupants are being asked to prepare their areas as follows:

- Remove items from the tops of lab bench shelves and cabinets.
- Relocate all glassware, small equipment and sensitive items located under existing light fixtures.
- Remove and secure valuables, personal or fragile items from desk tops.

The contractor will:
- Drape lab benches, shelves and desk with plastic sheeting before working on the scheduled day.
- Undrape the following morning.

This project may result in the creation of dust and dirt from working above the ceilings; Housekeeping will be scheduled to do a final clean up.
