July 1, 2012                   MyERAS opens for students

July 1, 2012                   Deadline to register for Step 2 CS (must be taken by March 31, 2012)

July 1, 2012                   Deadline to submit your three specialty bullet points for the dean's letter.

September 1, 2012       Registration for the NRMP opens

September 1, 2012        Deadline to submit your Scholarly Pursuit proposal      

September 5, 2012        Target date for completion of Central Application

                                     Service materials for Ophthalmology (SF Match)

September 15, 2012     Applicants may begin applying to programs through ERAS.        Programs begin downloading application files.

October 1, 2012            All Dean’s Letters (MSPEs) are transmitted and sent to residency programs

November 30, 2012      Deadline to register for the NRMP

December 16, 2012      Deadline to register for Urology Match (subject to change; official dates have not been released at time of printing)

Mid December, 2012    Military Match takes place

December 31, 2012          Deadline to register for Step 2 CK (must be taken by March 31, 2012)

January 5, 2013            Deadline for Urology applicants to submit rank                          lists on-line to AUA Residency Matching Program (subject to change; official dates have not been released at time of printing)

January 8, 2013            Deadline for Ophthalmology applicants to submit                                        rank lists to SF Match

January 15, 2013          Ophthalmology match results are released                                to programs and students notified

January 15, 2013          Rank Order List Entry for the NRMP begins

January 23, 2013          Urology match results are released by e-mail to students (subject to change; official dates have not been released at time of printing)

February 18-22, 2013  Required Bioethics Course

February 28, 2013       Deadline to compete all Scholarly Pursuit projects

March 11, 2013            Applicants are notified if they match

March 11, 2013            Supplemental Offer and Acceptance Program                 (SOAP) process begins for unmatched applicants

March 15, 2013             Match Day (at 12:00 noon results are released)

May 12, 2013                Penn Med Graduation at 9:00am at the Kimmel

Center

May 13, 2013               University Graduation on Franklin Field
