Neurology Bullet Points

The field of neurology is constantly evolving through clinical and basic science research; the potential for scientific discovery cannot be underestimated. I hope to participate in the research, broadening the understanding of neurological disease and treatment.

Neurology encompasses a wide array of specialties – infectious disease, oncology, rheumatology, psychiatry, etc. – while maintaining focus on the nervous system. As a neurologist, I hope to combine skills from all aspects of medicine and aid in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disease.

Neurology offers the unique opportunity to provide long-term care for patients. In my career I hope to treat patients with chronic illness, managing disease as it evolves throughout the course of a lifetime.
