Student Portal > Graduation Info
It is customary to have a member of the graduating class present a brief speech at the School of Medicine Graduation on behalf of the Class. The speech should share with the audience the student perspective on this momentous occasion.
All students who are interested in auditioning to be the speaker must notify Nancy Murphy in the Office of Student Affairs at murphyk@mail.med.upenn.edu by March 1, 2013. Those students will then prepare a 5 to 6 minute speech to be presented before a panel of judges on Tuesday, March 12th at 10:30am in Dunlop Auditorium. The panel who will select the speaker will consist of School of Medicine Deans, administrators and students.
