The postdoctoral fellowship is a one year training program. Each postdoctoral fellow outlines a list of specific clinical and research goals in collaboration with his or her mentor during the first month of the fellowship, and there are quarterly reviews of progress toward these goals. |

Individual and Group Research Supervision
| |
| |
Postdoctoral fellows receive supervision from a primary research mentor. Postdoctoral fellows often serve as Project Directors for individual studies and receive intensive training relevant to those studies (e.g. administration of standardized measures, participant recruitment, report writing, etc.). |

Individual and Group Clinical Supervision
| |
| |
Postdoctoral fellows receive clinical supervision from core faculty for treatment administered to participants in clinical trials. Therapy sessions may be audiotaped or videotaped and therapist competence can be evaluated using the Cognitive Therapy Rating Scale. Postdoctoral fellows may also elect to provide treatments for patients at the Center for Cognitive Therapy (CCT) and receive clinical supervision from CCT director Dr. Cory Newman. |
