Hongbo Lu is a research specialist with over 15 years experience in biomedical research. Dr. Lu earned her medical degree from Henan Medical University in Henan, China in 1984 and practiced internal medicine for 3 years prior to beginning her research career in the Department of Immunology at the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences in Beijing, China. She moved with her family to the United States in 1996 and has conducted research in the Philadelphia area since then. Dr. Lu joined the Taylor lab in 2006, where she is characterizing mouse models of neurodegenerative disease.
