The Department of Financial Training presents programs focused on the University's financial processes, procedures and systems. These programs cover a wide range of topics, including the University's Chart of Accounts, BEN Buys, BEN Balances, Purchasing Card and the Payroll/Personnel System.

Office of the Comptroller

The Office of the Comptroller provides the University with leadership in matters of financial accounting and disbursement activities. Their primary responsibility is to develop, disseminate and maintain the financial policies, procedures, standards, and systems necessary to ensure stewardship and management of the University's financial resources through effective and efficient accounting and disbursement processes.

Salary Increase Program

The Faculty/Staff Merit Increase Program is managed under a module in PennWorks entitled Salary Increase Program. The Merit Increase Program replaces the former SALINC process and is a web-based interface that allows users to export salary data via Role Export and Faculty Compensation Export. It also allows users to enter their salary increases via Role Rapid Entry and Faculty Compensation Rapid Entry.
