Primary Study ObjectiveThe purpose of this research study is to develop a better understanding of the genetic basis for Parkinson's disease (PD). It is hoped that such information will advance the knowledge of what causes PD and in the future may lead to a clinically available genetic test and improved treatment options. |

Study Population
Any individual with a diagnosis of Parkinson disease. Family members are also welcome to participate.
Study Activities
During your visit, a genetic counselor will collect a detailed family history and a blood sample. Genetic counseling will also be provided to those interested in learning more about known genetic causes of PD and genetic testing issues.
