Adam Gilden Tsai, M.D., M.S.

Adam Gilden Tsai, MD, MS, is Instructor of Medicine in Psychiatry at the Center for Weight and Eating Disorders. He serves as the medical director for the program. Dr. Tsai received his MD in 1999 and completed an internal medicine residency in 2002, both at the University of Pennsylvania. From 2002 to 2004, he pursued his MS in clinical epidemiology, also at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Tsai's research interests include treatment of obesity in primary health care settings, obesity among minority and low-income patients, and
the economics of obesity, including insurance coverage for obesity therapy.
