Rotations

  1. The purpose of rotation 1 is to familiarize the resident with all basic aspects of radiotherapy simulation, treatment planning and treatment delivery.
  1. The purpose of rotation 2 is to familiarize the resident with theoretical and practical aspects of highly conformal radiotherapy treatment plans, special treatment planning techniques and treatment delivery.
  1. The purpose of rotation 3 is to familiarize the resident with theoretical and practical aspects of QA and radiation safety in a radiation therapy department.
  1. The purpose of rotation 4 is to familiarize the resident with theoretical and practical aspects of brachytherapy and special procedures (TBI, SRS, SRT).
  1. In rotation 5 the resident will perform Medical Physicist duties with minimum supervision in the Department of Radiation Oncology at HUP.
  1. In rotation 6 the resident will perform Medical Physicist duties with minimum supervision at one of the satellite facilities.
