Researching bacterial pathogenesis

We are focused on the genetic mechanisms of pathogenesis and antibiotic resistance, mainly of Vibrio cholerae, Clostridium difficile, and some Enterobacteriaceae species, specifically researching the interaction between hosts, gut microbiota, and subsequent genetic modulation and the involvement of quorum sensing componentry.
