Description of Clinical Expertise

Dr. Chong practices both at the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. As part of Penn’s Breast Cancer program, Dr. Chong is an expert in advanced breast imaging technologies such as 3-D Mammograms (tomosynthesis) and 3-D breast ultrasound (automated breast ultrasound) for preventative screening, as well as diagnostic imaging with mammography, ultrasound and MRI. Dr. Chong routinely evaluates women and men with breast lumps, breast pain, dense breasts, and other breast concerns with the latest technologies, performing specialized procedures including ultrasound-guided core biopsies, stereotactic core biopsies, MRI-guided core biopsies, needle localizations and non-radioactive seed localization.
