Description of Itmat Expertise

I have two primary areas of interest. First, I have performed analysis on several large national datasets to elucidate patient, disease, and surgical attributes that contribute to patent outcomes. I am currently enrolled in the Biomedical Informatics Certificate Program.
I am also beginning a translational research program focusing on implantable hearing devices. This includes cochlear implants and auditory brainstem implants. This will include computer and animal models, up through human trials. Advances in this program will help infants under 12 months old through patients in their 90's.
