The Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure research track. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research.
The successful applicant will have a minimum of six years of experience in biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology, and virology and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in biomedical research. Research experience with the design and optimization of messenger RNA production, purification and development of therapeutic products in small and large animal models is highly preferred. Extensive experience in divergent vaccine models is required, including immunogen development, immune response analyses, and challenge models.
