Ryan Littman-Quinn is a mobile health (mHealth) professional with five years of experience working in both the USA healthcare and global health systems. Since 2010, he founded, managed and expanded the Botswana-UPenn Partnership (BUP) Health Informatics Capacity Building program. With BUP, Ryan has directed capacity building initiatives and played a major role in the creation, implementation, research, and sustainable scale of 14 mHealth initiatives. All projects fulfill needs within the public health care system in Botswana, ranging from remote specialist access, to public health data collection, to mobile learning (mLearning) initiatives with the recently founded University of Botswana School of Medicine.
Ryan also has extensive mHealth consulting experience with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Kenya, Botswana), the Clinton Foundation (Botswana, South Africa), Invest in Knowledge (Malawi), Hospitalito Atitlan (Guatemala), Vignet (USA), and ManGoes Mobile (USA). He is a regular guest lecturer at the University of Botswana, where he speaks to health science students about health informatics and mHealth, and MBA students about New Media Marketing.
