Liza has a Sales and Marketing diploma, a diploma in Travel and Tourism and a lot of PA and administration experience. She started out in the travel industry as a travel agent doing domestic safaris and then progressed to international travel. She did this over a couple of years and then her career took a different path. She became a Personal Assistant to many CEO's and GM's in the corporate industry such as Price Waterhouse Coopers, Collins and Newman, Fedex and many more. As time went on she wanted to interact more with people and that is when she joined the Hotel industry, which lasted for a span of 12 years. Seven years at Gaborone Sun, now Avani and four years at The Lansmore Hotel, now The Masa Hotel. Three and a half years ago, she joined Botswana-UPenn as the Global Health administrator. Her work involves administration, coordinating and logistics, a lot of interaction with students, residents and faculty of UPENN as well as visitors from other institutions.
