Dr. Findley received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Behavioral Medicine from West Virginia University. He completed his graduate training as a Resident at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and Jackson V.A. Consortium. Dr. Findley has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine since 2005 and Certified in Behavioral Sleep Medicine since 2010. He was the Coordinator and Clinical Coordinator of the Comprehensive Pain Management Center of the V.A. Connecticut Healthcare System, West Haven Campus, and a Clinical Research Associate in the Department of Psychiatry, Yale Medical School. Before joining the Behavioral Sleep Medicine Program at Penn, Dr. Findley was a Psychologist/Sleep Medicine Specialist at Gaylord Sleep Medicine in North Haven, CT, and had a private practice in Hamden, CT, while serving as a consultant for insomnia research at the Yale School of Nursing.

Dr. Findley provides direct services including Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) to patients with Insomnia, including Insomnia associated with medical and psychiatric disorders, Insomnia associated with Circadian Rhythm Disorders and other sleep-related problems. In addition to providing direct clinical services, Dr. Findley provides treatment to participants in RCTs, supervises other providers in RCTs, and supervises Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners who deliver CBT-I to patients at the Penn Center for Sleep and Penn Medicine at Radnor.
