During the 2017-18 program year, 192 students attended at least one seminar.

The Seminar Series provides a forum for students to conceptualize how they might support and improve quality of life for their future patients/clients. The following topics were presented:

  • Both Sides of the Wall: Challenges and Opportunities in Health Care for Incarcerated and Recently Released Populations
  • Maintaining Frail Older Adults in the Community Using the PACE Model
  • Supporting the Health and Well-being of Transgender Youth: Perspectives from the CHOP Gender and Sexuality Development Clinic
  • Addressing Adolescent Risk: Building on Strength
  • Navigating Emergency Medical Assistance: Health Rights of the Uninsured
