These positions (depending on expertise) are available at the Center for Biomedical Image Computing and Analytics, University of Pennsylvania. The successful candidate must have background and interest in using machine learning and image analysis methods to solve clinical neuroscience problems. Opportunities in the following areas exist: 1) two large consortia in the areas of brain aging, and neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric disorders, which offer exciting new opportunities to develop and apply big-data analytics and machine learning methods on pooled cohorts of more than 18,000 multi-modal brain MRI scans; 2) radiomics and radiogenomics of brain cancer, which offers exciting opportunities to develop and apply machine learning methods in order to develop imaging signatures of genetic mutations and pathways. CBICA is a dynamically growing medical image computing center, involving several laboratories and many collaborators from diverse fields.

- Postdoctoral positions in Medical Image Analysis
Multiple postdoctoral positions in medical image analysis and machine learning are available at the Section of Biomedical Image Analysis (SBIA), Department of Radiology, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA, USA. Candidates must have a background in Image Processing, Statistical Analysis, or Pattern Recognition. Experience in fMRI data analysis, image segmentation, image registration, or deep learning is a plus. The postdoctoral fellows will have opportunities to work on deep learning for image segmentation, image registration, fMRI data analysis, and image based prediction modeling.
