Research

My current main research focuses on developing image and data processing to estimate breast cancer risk based on medical records and Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT) scans. I am honored being mentored by Prof. Despina Kontos and being a member of the CBIG group. I joined the CBIG group in January 2019.
I developed image, data, and signal processing algorithms to analyze animal locomotion for neuroscience and biomechanics applications during my Ph.D. degree. In addition, I developed image processing methods for Wireless Capsule Endoscopy (WCE) as part of my M. S. degree.
I am passionate about learning and developing image, data, and signal processing methods for biomedical imaging applications and devices. I am highly interested to develop clinical approaches helping physicians analyzing medical images or using medical devices.
Last but not least, I believe in learning new things in a fun way but using hard work.
