Penn Center for AIDS Research

AIDS-Related Malignancies Supplemental Grant Program

The AIDS-Related Malignancies Supplemental Grant Program is funded by the National Cancer Institute to foster collaborative activities between NIH CFARs and NCI Cancer Centers. Under this program, the Penn Center for AIDS Research and the Abramson Cancer Center (ACC) award funding to pilot projects that encourage and support research in basic, clinical, epidemiologic, and translational aspects of HIV-related malignancies. Faculty, who are members of the Penn CFAR or ACC at the University of Pennsylvania, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, or the Wistar Institute, are eligible. In addition, preference will be given to applications that promote collaborations between CFAR, the Abramson Cancer Center and the Wistar Institute Cancer Center to develop pilot projects that address scientific areas relevant to HIV-associated malignancies at sites specific to international study, including but not limited to Botswana, Kenya, South Africa, and other sites in sub-Saharan Africa.
