PDPH is a formal partner in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.med.upenn.edu\/cfar\/\"><u>Penn Center<\/u><u> for AIDS Research (CFAR)<\/u><\/a>, with the goal of catalyzing research collaborations that bring CFAR expertise to address knowledge gaps needed by PDPH to advance HIV\/AIDS prevention and care in the Philadelphia regions and enable use of PDPH data for CFAR investigators.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The PDPH has a wealth of surveillance and programmatic data that supports research on HIV, HCV and the opioid epidemic. \u00a0To facilitate this, we have a shared biostatistician positioned part-time within PDPH to help with this research.
