Practicum Student

Idil Franko

Idil Franko, M.A. is a practicum student at the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety (CTSA) and a fourth-year student at the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) at Rutgers University, pursuing a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology. Her clinical interests are focused on providing cognitive-behavioral therapy for adult clients who experience mood and anxiety disorders. She is also interested in the improvement health behaviors in order to prevent and treat psychological disorders and chronic health conditions. Idil previously completed clinical placements at the ADHD Clinic and Anxiety Disorders Clinic at GSAPP. She currently holds an externship position at the Family Medicine practice at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, providing cognitive-behavioral therapy to target conditions seen in primary care. At the CTSA, Idil provides prolonged exposure therapy (PE) for posttraumatic stress disorder, exposure and response prevention therapy (ExRP) for obsessive-compulsive disorder, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for panic and anxiety.
