George Gerstein, PhD   Professor, Department of Neuroscience, University of Pennsylvania. George was born in Berlin, Germany. He obtained his B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees in physics from Harvard University (Cambridge, Massachusetts).

Jeff Keating, PhD   Research Associate. Jeff was born in Janesville, Wisconsin. He received his bachelor degree in Philosophy/Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Washington University (St. Louis, Missouri).

Michael Kisley, PhD   Mike was born in Denver, Colorado. He received bachelor and master degrees in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado (Boulder), and recently completed his Ph.D. in Neuroscience in George Gerstein's lab. He is now a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Colorado Medical School

Sanjiv Talwar, PhD   Sanjiv was born in Bombay (now Mumbai), India. He received an M.B.B.S. (Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery, the equivalent of an M.D.) and a Master of Surgery from the University of Bombay. He also has an M.S. in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and recently completed his Bioengineering Ph.D. in George Gerstein's lab. He is now a post-doctoral fellow in John Chapin's lab at the SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn, NY.

Kyle Kirkland, PhD   Kyle was born in Huntsville, Alabama. He received a B.S. in Psychology/Mathematics from the University of Southern Mississippi (Hattiesburg), and recently completed his Ph.D. in Neuroscience in George Gerstein's lab. He is now a post-doctoral fellow in Marc Dichter's lab at the University of Pennsylvania.
