Service Inititative
LLOS for several years has joined forces with a Perelman School of Medicine, Program for Diversity Inclusion initiative and either visited the Benjamin B. Comegys K-8 school in Philadelphia or brought students into the Jordan Medical Education Center. LLOS leaders lead sessions teaching 4th-grade students the importance of physical and mental health as well as basic splinting. We plan to continue this initiative over the coming years and to expand our service efforts into other realms in the coming semesters.
