LLOS Teaching Awards

Through the efforts of the Leo Leung Orthopedic Society, two new awards have been created to acknowledge each year a Penn resident and faculty member for showing commitment to medical student education and teaching. These individuals are selected by members of LLOS as someone who has consistently been dedicated to spending time teaching and helping medical students who are interested in orthopedics. These are individuals who go above and beyond what is required of them. Recipients are noted to actively engage students, talking through cases and ensuring that students understand cases before stepping foot in the OR. Further, they put in the time to help students to improve their knowledge bases.
