MATERIALS NEEDED FROM SYMPOSIUM PARTICIPANTS All presentations due 11:59 PM June 8.

Plenary Speakers Requirements:

The top eight (8) highest scored abstracts will have a twelve-minute slot to present their research.  Plenary speakers should prepare a ten-minute slide presentation (maximum 12 slides), allowing two additional minutes for questions and answers. Plenary speakers will share his/her screen during the symposium and advance their slides. Presentations are due by 11:59 PM on June 8, 2021.  Presenters in this category should reference their confirmation letter for the upload link to Penn+Box.

 

Poster Mad-Minute:

The following nine (9) top scores will be honored with the Summa Cum Laude distinction and will participate in our "Poster Mad Minute" session.  Each person will have three (3) minutes to present the big picture of their work, highlighting key innovations, results, and outcomes. All Summa Cum Laude presentations are assembled into one file and the slides advanced by a Pendergrass Committee moderator.  Mad-Minute presenters should prepare a three-minute slide presentation (maximum 3 slides). Do not include animations.  Slide presentations are due by 11:59 PM on June 8, 2021  Presenters in this category should reference their confirmation letter for the upload link to Penn+Box.

 

Poster Session:

If your poster was not offered an oral or mad-minute slot in the morning program, we are including your work in the afternoon poster session.  Please prepare a five-minute prerecorded presentation of your work on Zoom or PowerPoint and upload your recording no later than 11:59 pm on Tuesday, June 8.  Poster presenters should reference their confirmation letter for the upload link to Penn+Box.

This year, the Symposium will have an interactive virtual poster session on Friday afternoon from 1:30-3:00 pm. Utilizing Wonder.me, attendees will have the opportunity to "walk-up" to a poster presenter to discuss and ask questions about their poster presentation previously viewed on Penn+Box. We hope this addition to the symposium will create an interactive and engaging poster session for all!
