This work in progress examined implementation considerations for delivering long-acting HIV treatment for people with HIV with or without hepatitis B, including HBV screening and clinical management, vaccination strategies, and care pathway design.

Ali Ahmed, PhD is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Pennsylvania. His work applies implementation science and mixed-methods research to strengthen HIV and hepatitis B care delivery, with a focus on practical strategies to improve access, quality, and equity.

The presenters (PISCE Directors Dr. Courtney Wolk & Dr. Danielle Cullen, and PISCE Senior Fellow Dr. Molly Davis) shared practical tools they have developed or utilized in their own work, such as methods for tracking implementation strategies and adaptations, and tools for engaging implementation partners.
