What is an RSS Feed?

RSS stands for “Really Simple Syndication”. RSS is an electronic format for sharing news headlines, announcements, and other web content. An RSS feed displays on your webpage typically in the “News” or “Announcements” section.

Advantages & Capabilities

There are many advantages to using an RSS feed as your source of news or announcements. Displaying your news as an RSS feed allows you to aggregate any number of news sources together into one stream of news, which displays automatically on your site. You can also manually add news items to your news feed.

Users can subscribe to your RSS feed using a feed reader such as Pocket, Feedly, or, allowing them to quickly obtain updated information as soon as it is published. Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time.

Your RSS feed is styled to match your website to ensure a consistent and seamless user experience.
