Therapeutic Hypothermia

CPR Anytime

cprCardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an easy-to-learn technique that can double a victim's chance of survival if provided immediately and effectively. Despite this, less than a third of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest victims receive CPR from an observer. We conduct several ongoing research studies that seek to increase dissemination of this life-saving skill using the American Heart Association's CPR Anytime Education Program. CPR Anytime overcomes many of the barriers to traditional CPR courses (which are often times consuming and expensive) and emphasizes hands-on practice time, allowing individuals to gain confidence with the skills they have learned.

We are also working on video-only refresher course methods - for a sample of our video, please click here.
