Advisory:
Facilities Services completed repairs today, before the end of the business day that resulted in the DI Watering system being put back on line. However, the DI watering system remains in the OFF position for floor 11 and part of floor 10. Please know that Facilities Services will resume their work tomorrow morning, June 23, to bring this system back to full operation.

Please keep in mind that all research and research equipment requiring DI water is affected. Again, we ask that you monitor your email for updates regarding this concern.

Advisory:
Please be advised that on Tuesday evening, June 28, 2015 between 6:00 pm and 2:00 am Wednesday morning there will be an outage of the domestic water system. In addition; this outage will also affect the central vacuum system, autoclave and glass wash operation. This outage is necessary to make repairs to the domestic water system. The water service will be restored at the earliest possible time.

EHRS Directive:
No lab work is permitted during this period of time. During the above time frame domestic water will not be available for restrooms, labs, eyewashes, and emergency showers.

Please be advised that full power has been restored to the BRB Laboratory Building. The scheduled preventative maintenance work has been successfully concluded. The work was accelerated as a result of excellent preparation this past week and implementation of the work today. FRES technicians are restoring building systems to normal.

It is recommended that the labs check their equipment at their earliest convenience.

NOTICE:Fourth Notice: Electrical System Planned Maintenance: BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH BUILDING

Please be advised that preventative maintenance of the BRB electrical distribution system is scheduled to be performed this Saturday, June 18, 2016 beginning at 7:00 am; the cycle of two hours off, then one hour on will start. This off/on cycle will be repeated four times, or until completion. Emergency power will be available during this entire planned maintenance activity.

The preventative maintenance work that has been performed this week has been highly successful. A well designed and implemented preventative maintenance program is the cornerstone of a sound maintenance program that will increase system reliability, and decrease downtime.

Please be advised that the project to replace the building reheat system in Johnson Pavilion has started. It is necessary to remove this system from operation for the next two weeks in order to replace critical piping sections. The main air handling units will be adjusted to compensate for this outage as much as possible; individual room temperatures may be cooler than usual.
