Placing an Order

Orders may be placed from in the Cell Center between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Please note the Cell Center is closed daily from 1:00 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.

You may place an order with the Cell Center Stockroom at any time of day or night on line from the Stockroom home page.

This user-friendly system allows customers to access Stockroom systems directly over Penn's computer network and is available 24 hours a day. CellNet includes up-to-date information on all Stockroom catalog items, as well as a complete 300,000-item searchable catalog to place Special Orders from 28 suppliers (see below).

Special Orders are those items, which are not stocked at the Stockroom and are not part of the Stockroom catalog. The following suppliers allow Special Orders, and most items are available the next day. Please consult the 2001 Genetics Core Facilities Catalog for specific information about the availability of special orders (found in each vendor’s section of the catalog). The Stockroom cannot be responsible for vendor backorders, shipping delays or other circumstances beyond our control.

If there are items or suppliers that you frequently use that are not currently stocked by the Stockroom, please notify us. We will be happy to consider such additions.
