Clinical interests include using geospatial information to map poultry and swine locations, share information about disease status, and strategize community approaches to disease control. Research interests include practical aspects of food animal welfare such as sow lameness, investigating strategies to improve welfare when mixing sows into groups, and novel modalities for diagnostic sample collection for sows gestating in pens.
