Effect of chronic pain, such as osteoarthritis, on behavior in patients with and without underlying anxieties; how the pain pathway is influenced, if any, by emotional disorders characterized by dysregulated noradrenaline and serotonin systems; can inflammatory mediators predict behavioral problems and/or outcomes of behavioral treatment; cognitive effects of prolonged anesthesia on geriatric patients; protective effects of dexmedetomidine and/or fatty acids on cognition.
