Description of Research Expertise

My main research interest is the pathological evaluation of laboratory animals used in fundamental research and preclinical studies. A major focus of this research is the assessment of effects and toxicities of immunotherapies and genetic engineering. I am also passionate about developing the field of image analysis on digital slides for data quantification and analysis. Diagnostically, I have a strong interest in ocular pathology and oversee the ocular pathology service within the Penn Vet Diagnostic Laboratory.
