Description of Clinical Expertise

I currently serve as Medical Director of Penn Family Care, a large academic primary care practice in West Philadelphia serving over 22,000 active patients. Responsibilities include scheduling and oversight of 27 residents, 4 nurse practitioners, and over 30 faculty physicians. I am also responsible for integrating and expanding clinical niches within full spectrum primary care, and improving workflows to maintain high quality care. I have a particular clinical interest in gynecologic procedures and have expertise in reproductive health focusing on LARC insertion and removal, colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, miscarriage/early pregnancy management.

Description of Research Expertise

I am using a quality and practice improvement framework to more formally assess work flow changes for team-based InBasket management in the primary care setting.
