The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician-educator track. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of clinical psychology with a focus on anxiety related disorders, i.e. OCD or PTSD. Responsibilities include designing and conducting studies on clinical outcomes, treatment mechanisms and psychopathology; supervision of trainees in conducting evidence-based assessment and therapy (e.g., CBT) in the context of research protocols and individual therapy; preparing research protocols/scholarly publications; assisting with training clinicians in the dissemination of evidence-based practice. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research, education, and clinical care. Pennsylvania Psychology License or license eligibility required.

Faculty member will write and compete for independent or mentored research grant applications in the area of anxiety and related disorders. Strong quantitative skills and previous experience in writing/administrating sponsored research are preferred.
