Elizabeth McNally

The Administrative and Training Core A has five major aims:

  1. To provide a centralized administrative facility for the entire MDCRC
  2. To provide scientific leadership to the entire MDCRC
  3. To facilitate interactions between the investigators of the MDCRC
  4. To administer both NIH and non-NIH funds supporting the Center.
  5. To organize the bi-annual international meeting (“New Directions") for the muscular dystrophy community

The Administrative Core (Core A) is a shared resource of the Center and plays a central role in facilitating our investigations. This core provides a centralized administrative facility for the entire MDCRC and provides scientific leadership to the MDCRC. Core A also facilitates interactions between the investigators of the MDCRC by arranging telephone and video conferencing, as well as annual face-to-face meetings. The Administrative Core administers all funding support for the Center. It also will assist in organizing the bi-annual international meeting (“New Directions”) for the muscular dystrophy community that Drs. Sweeney and McNally direct.
